ABOUT JON CURTIS
EARLY LIFE – NO STRINGS ATTACHED
I was born and raised in Mesa where I worked on our family farm with my parents, Mel and Carmen Curtis. I married Joyzelle (Wade) and we have had the privilege of raising our 10 children, 5 of whom still reside here in the east valley. While raising 10 kids can sometimes be a circus, we decided to carry on a tradition Joyzelle’s family started while she was young, with her parents, Gene and Joy Wade and we continue to this day performing Puppet Shows all over the state of Arizona.
EXPERIENCE DOES MATTER
I have been a small business owner, Real Estate Agent and property manager, while keeping involved with process serving for several decades. By being a process server, this has helped me navigate the rough water that can come between a Plaintiff and Defendant. My father taught me about being a Constable as he served over 2 decades as Constable in the East Valley. He taught me how to be firm yet compassionate, to follow the rules set by the court knowing there are uncomfortable situations that need a calm but firm voice to guide others through uncertain times.
EXPERIENCE MATTERS TODAY
Over the past several decades I have been working with the courts as an Officer of the Court (Process Server) which has the similar duties of a Constable. As Constable, for the North Mesa Justice Court, I would enforce court orders and serve civil and criminal papers. I would work closely with the Justice of the Peace, landlords, businesses, and individuals, to help resolve issues they bring before the court. I look forward to serving you, as Constable, by bringing my experience to our community.
